Bill English's Platform for Election

 PLATFORM FOR ELECTION

1.                              The Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights are sacrosanct and therefore are not subject to violation by the Congress of the United States. All Bill's placed before the Congress must show Constitutional justification in order to be brought before the committees as a whole. If they do not meet Constitution mandates then they are rejected.

2.                              Do everything within my power to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Sovereignty of the State of New Mexico and the sovereignty of all other states within the Union.

3.                              Work toward improving the economy of New Mexico through technology and space exploration, which will ultimately be of benefit to both the entire United States but the rest of the world.

4.                              Work toward a flat fair tax system that does not exceed more than 10% of income levels.

5.                              Work toward abolishing the Internal Revenue Service in its present form and reducing it authority and forcing it to follow due process in all tax cases.

6.                              Work toward reducing the United States involvement with the United Nations and its mandates for Kyoto and Kyoto II treaties which have never been reviewed or approved by the Congress.

7.                              Work toward the reduction of foreign aide to nations that do not have the best interest of the United States at heart.

8.                              Revamping of Social Security and restoring to it those funds that were taken from it by the government illegally to fund other worthless government programs. And creating legislation that prevents future takings of this nature.

9.                              Work toward the revamping and redefining of the Patriot Act and Homeland Security to protect the Citizens of the United States from arbitrarily being defined as Domestic Terrorist by virtue of their lifestyles, political, philosophical, religious, and moral beliefs.

10.                           Seeing to it that All Americans enjoy the freedoms and rights as defined by the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights with special attention to the First and Second Amendments of the Bill of Rights.

11.                           Work for the reduction of Government in the form of elimination of government programs that are blatant violations of the Constitution of the United States, and the end of Czars who are not directly answerable to the Congress of the United States but to the power and office of the Presidency.

12.                           Ensure that Ecological and Environmental laws that have been passed into law and violate the basic civil and constitutional rights of Americans are repealed.

13.                           Work toward bringing home our American Military from foreign soil where we have no constitutional mandate to interfere in their internal political turmoil’s unless requested to do so, and reserving that power and the power to declare war of any kind to the congress.

14.                           Work toward securing our own borders and curbing the flow of illegal aliens into our country that place a tremendous burden upon our social services and our political structure.

15.                           Work toward establishment of Term Limits for the House and Senate of the United States Congress.

16.                           Require that all Candidates for the Office of the Presidency show proof of Natural Born Citizenship to the Congress of the United States and that Congress verifies each candidate’s citizenship as stated under the Constitution of the United States before the beginning of the election cycle.

17.                           Work for the return to the States of the Union the rights and sovereignty of the state and cease all Federal involvement in states issues as determined by the legislatures of each state.

18.                           Be accessible answerable and accountable to my constituents and to the citizens of the United States to hear their concerns, complaints, and thoughts at all times.

It is my considered opinion that the Congress has over the years lost track of its true purpose and feel that it is time to remind them that they have a duty to the people of American to follow the Constitution and the Bill of rights, and to no longer act in a fashion that seems they are answerable to no one but themselves.
